KAMLOOPS – Two people are in custody after Kamloops RCMP spotted a recently stolen Toyota pick up truck around 10:30 a.m. today.
An officer on foot patrol approached the vehicle on St. Paul Street but the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. More officers as well as a police helicopter and a police dog were dispatched and the stolen vehicle was found abandoned at 10th Avenue and Dominion Street a short while later.
A 34-year-old female and a 34-year-old male are both in custody while a third male, 26, is yet to be arrested. All three suspects are considered prolific offenders and are known to police.
