VIDEO: Penticton firefighters extinguish burning minivan
PENTICTON – Penticton firefighters battled a minivan fire in the city last night.
Deputy chief Dave Spalding says fire crews were called to the Granada Motor Inn on Skaha Lake Road last night, Nov. 28, at about 10 p.m. to find a minivan fully engulfed in flames.
Fire crews were able to douse the flames before any surrounding property was damaged.
The owner was located and police called, something Spalding says is normally done in the case of vehicle fires.
He says the fire is not suspicious.
