TORONTO – B.C. Lions linebacker Solomon Elimimian and Ottawa Redblacks teammates Taylor Reed and Mossis Madu Jr. are the CFL’s top players for Week 17.
Elimimian had 10 tackles and two sacks as the Lions defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders 24-6 on Saturday in the final game at Regina’s Mosaic Stadium.
Elimimian leads the league with 128 tackles and has a career-high eight sacks this season.
Reed, a linebacker, recorded a career-high 12 tackles in the Redblacks’ 23-10 victory over Winnipeg at Investors Group Field on Saturday.
Running back Madu rushed for 125 rushing yards and a touchdown on 21 carries in the Redblacks victory.
