
Winter fun begins in west Kelowna
The City of West Kelowna is hosting its annual Light Up and Winterfest this weekend in West Kelowna. Everyone is invited to join in the fun.
Start the season off with the
Town Centre Light Up
Friday, December 2, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
along Brown Road North
Get in the festive spirit!
Enjoy caroling, kids’ activities and a variety of fun for the whole family. Come see Santa, listen to the choirs sing and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. The switch will be flipped to turn on the lights at around 6 p.m.
Admission is free, but food bank donations will be gratefully accepted.
Then, continue the holiday cheer at
Winterfest
Sunday, December 4, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Mt. Boucherie Community Centre, 2760 Cameron Road
Enjoy free skating, crafts, face painting and cookie decorating. There will be a special guest appearance from Santa! All sizes of skates and helmets are available and free to use.
Admission and activities are free but a donation to the food bank will be gratefully accepted.
