Kelowna Yacht Club is presented Club of the Year Award

Kelowna Yacht Club is pleased to announce that they have been presented with the Club of the Year Award (Medium Size) by the Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM). CSCM is a professional society for individuals involved in the club management profession in Canada, involving over 550 members and representing over 300 clubs nationally.

A Club of the Year Award is presented annually to an affiliated club who has shown significant innovation, leadership and social responsibility in the private club management industry.

Kelowna Yacht Club was chosen based on their accomplishments, which include increased membership, revenue and growth over the past five years. The construction of their new facility was also considered due to its inclusion of high-efficiency systems and lighting, which ultimately reduces their carbon footprint. Their sailing programs, fundraising efforts, and community-focused events, such as the Blind Fishing Derby, the Boat Show and Boat for Hope, were also recognized.

The Club is grateful to receive this distinguished award and honoured to be recognized by such an esteemed organization. For more information on membership, visit the Kelowna Yacht Club website.
