UDPATE: Vernon Rec Centre reopens

VERNON – The Vernon Recreation Centre, including the pool and Halina Centre, has reopened after it was closed for about five hours today.

The city closed the facility at about 7:30 a.m., Nov. 29, after "signs of a blockage in the main septic line," according to a City of Vernon media release.

City crews were able to locate the blockage and "remove the problem."
