Transportation is about so much more than how we get from point A to point B.

The final installment of On Point: A Series of Upside Down Town Halls will challenge participants to think differently about transportation.

“We want to shift the conversation away from supply and focus on how transportation affects things like affordability, economic resiliency and our environment,” said Urban Systems Communities Consultant Erin Welk. “We invite the community to come together once more and be part of a lively discussion focusing on transportation as an enabler to creating a more vibrant city.”

On Point will support the important #ImagineKelowna initiative where the City of Kelowna asks residents to take part in the largest city-wide conversation in recent years to help create a long-term community vision. Residents are invited to share their vision to shape the future of Kelowna and visit imagine.kelowna.ca to have a say.

These events are free and open to the public. There will be food, a cash bar and local entertainment. Spaces are limited and registration is required: okanaganunstuck.eventbrite.ca
