Americans who thwarted terror attack have book deal
NEW YORK, N.Y. – The three Americans who prevented a terrorist attack on a train from Brussels to Paris last summer have a book deal.
The Perseus Books Group announced Wednesday it will publish “The 15:17 to Paris” by Anthony Sadler, National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos and Staff Sgt. Spencer Stone. The book is scheduled for August and will be co-authored by Jeffrey E. Stern.
Last August, the three Americans were vacationing together in Europe when they thwarted Ayoub El-Khazzani, a man who authorities said has ties to radical Islam and boarded the train with a Kalashnikov rifle, pistol and box cutter. Stone later survived a stabbing attack in his hometown of Sacramento, California, and was a guest last week of first lady Michelle Obama at the State of the Union address.
