Canadian rugby international Jebb Sinclair signs new deal with London Irish
LONDON, England – Canadian rugby international Jebb Sinclair has signed a two-year contract extension with London Irish.
The 29-year-old from Fredericton joined the Aviva Premiership team after the 2011 World Cup, spending time in 2012 on loan with South Africa’s Stormers.
The six-foot-five 254-pound forward has made 78 appearances for London Irish. He has also won 42 caps for Canada.
“Jebb has been a good servant of this club for a number of years now and his versatility in being able to play at both lock and flanker makes him an important part of our group,” Glenn Delaney, London Irish’s head of rugby operations, said in a statement.
“He was very quick to return to London Irish following the (2015) World Cup, which speaks volumes about his passion and commitment to our organization. We look forward to working with Jebb over the next few seasons.”
London Irish, which is also home to Canadian international back Ciaran Hearn, currently stands 11th in the 12-team English league with a 2-7-0 record.
