UPDATE: Snowfall warning lifted for the Coquihalla highway

UPDATE 11:50 P.M. DEC. 4, 2016
THOMPSON-OKANAGAN – The snowfall warning issued yesterday for the Coquihalla highway from Hope to Merritt has been lifted. The warning called for 25 centimetres of snow.

4:07 P.M. DEC. 3, 2016
THOMPSON-OKANAGAN – Motorists travelling from Hope to Merritt on the Coquihalla highway could be in for snowy conditions.
At 3:50 p.m. today, Dec. 3, Environment Canada issued the snowfall warning. These warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
Environment Canada is forecasting 20 to 25 cm of snow to accumulate by Sunday morning.
DriveBC says motorists should always adjust to changing road conditions.
