Frank Ocean says on blog that he won’t pursue criminal charges against Chris Brown

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Frank Ocean says he won’t pursue criminal charges against Chris Brown, who is alleged to have punched Ocean in a recent fight.

The R&B star wrote on his Tumblr page Saturday that he wants peace instead of criminal charges or a civil lawsuit.

Brown is under investigation for his role in a fight outside a West Hollywood recording studio on Jan. 27. Witnesses told Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies that Brown punched someone during an argument over a parking space.

Authorities didn’t identify the victim, but the celebrity website TMZ said the fight involved Ocean later tweeted that he “got jumped by Chris and a couple guys” and suffered a finger cut.

Brown has not commented on the allegation.
