WINNIPEG – Bobby Lynch scored the go-ahead goal 4:54 into the third period, and the Manitoba Moose rode another strong performance from goaltender Mikhail Berdin for a 2-1 win over the Toronto Marlies on Friday in American Hockey League play.
Berdin stopped 38-of-39 shots for the win, one night after making 43 saves to beat Toronto 4-2.
Jeff Malott also scored for the Moose (2-2-0), AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets.
Calle Rosen found the back of the net for the Marlies (2-2-0).
Andrew D’Agostini made 27 saves for the Toronto Maple Leafs’ AHL club.
