Pickup truck sought in Okanagan Falls crime spree
PENTICTON – Police are looking for a pickup truck deemed suspicious after a series of property crimes in Okanagan Falls last week.
Penticton RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says the vehicle’s occupants were observed trying to break into mailboxes, storage lockers, vehicles and a garage overnight Friday, Dec. 2.
The truck is believed to be a newer model Chev extended cab with a full size box.
Wriggles worth says witnesses described it as two tone, with a wide stripe running the length of the vehicle and wrapping around the tailgate. The vehicle is dark in colour, the stripe light. It sounded like a diesel.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Penticton detachment at 250-492-4300 or Crime Stoppers at 250-490-2374.
