No winning ticket for $55-million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max

TORONTO – No one has the winning ticket for the $55-million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max draw.

Fourteen MaxMillions prizes of $1-million each were available, and four winning tickets for three of those prizes were sold — meaning one of the prizes will be shared by two ticket holders.

Two winning Maxmillions tickets were purchased in the Prairie provinces and the others were sold in Quebec and Ontario.

The jackpot for next Friday’s Lotto Max draw on Jan. 29 will be an estimated $60-million, and there will be 25 MaxMillions prizes up for grabs.

The lottery’s grand prize was last won Dec. 25, when a ticket worth $60-million was sold in Mississauga, Ont.
