BC Transit and the City of Penticton are getting into the holiday spirit with a seasonal Lights Tour and free rides on New Year’s Eve.

The Lights Tour is an excellent chance to see the beauty of Penticton during the holiday season. Two trips will be taking place on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.

Lights Tour buses depart:

Wade Avenue and Martin Street at 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
Penticton Plaza at 6:35 p.m. and 7:50 p.m.
Cherry Lane Shopping Centre at 6:40 p.m. and 7:55 p.m.
Peach Tree Mall at 6:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

BC Transit and the City of Penticton want to ensure you get home safe this New Year’s Eve and are offering free transit service from 6:50 p.m. until 3 a.m. The Night Route will see extended hours and a Party Loop route will be added to service the malls, downtown Penticton, both lakes and the community centre.

BC Transit customers should also be aware of some holiday schedule changes:

December 24 – Regular Service
December 25 – No Service
December 26 – Sunday Service
December 31 – Regular Daytime Service, Free New Year’s Eve Shuttle (See Map)
January 1– Sunday Service
