Several Kelowna restaurants are treating the guests of Kelowna’s Gospel Mission at 259 Leon Ave. to delicious meals this Christmas season. All of the restaurants bring their own chefs, staff and food to serve over 200 people each meal.

With extremely cold weather and the emergency shelter kept open 24/7, being served by Kelowna’s best restaurants is an exciting break for our guests and staff. Randy Benson, Executive Director of Kelowna’s Gospel Mission, said “The Christmas season is a difficult time for the homeless and these great restaurants are helping to bring hope for the holidays! We are so humbled and grateful.”
Mandy Phillips, Kitchen Manager at Kelowna’s Gospel Mission says, “Kelowna is such a generous and wonderful city. With the help of our volunteers we have been serving over 500 meals everyday so, when these incredible chefs bring in all the food and staff, it is an amazing treat and a fun sight to see. Our guests feel so honoured and grateful for these special meals. This is an incredible way of giving back to our community and to bring Christmas to people in need.”
