Springsteen reschedules NYC show after snowstorm, adds dates

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band said Wednesday their New York City show that was cancelled because of the recent snowstorm will now take place in March.

Springsteen had been set to perform his first of two shows at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. The show was cancelled and will now take place at the famed venue on March 28. Tickets for the original show will be honoured at the new date.

Springsteen will also play at MSG on Wednesday night.

The singer has extended the U.S. run of his The River Tour with 14 new shows, including stops in Denver, Dallas and Detroit. He will wrap the U.S. leg with two shows at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on April 23 and 25.
