Suspected drunk driver rolls vehicle in Salmon Arm

SALMON ARM – A Salmon Arm man is facing drunk driving charges after rolling his vehicle on Foothills Drive yesterday afternoon.

RCMP say officers were called to the report of a rollover at around 3:50 p.m., Dec. 13, on Foothills Drive and 30 Avenue SW in Salmon Arm.

Police found the driver walking away from the scene of the crash, according to a media release.

“While unhurt the driver was determined to be impaired and a criminal impaired driving investigation was entered into by the police officers at the scene,” Staff Sgt. Scott West says in the release.

A 46-year-old Salmon Arm man is scheduled to appear in court in the New Year to face an impaired driving charge.
