Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

VERNON – This large and lovable lady is Belle. Akbash breed dogs are a flock guardian and adopters should do their research and be familiar with the breed.

Belle is a super sweet girl that will greet you with full body wags. She loves people but would prefer to be the only dog in the household.

Belle enjoys going for walks and will ask very politely by offering her paw for attention and affection.

She knows sit, stay, and lay down commands and walks well on a leash.

Belle will need some help getting used to time without people and should do some training with gradual departures.

The Akbash breed does best on large acreages and Belle is currently looking for a home with a securely fenced property with at least an acre to call her own.

Belle is approximately two years old.

Belle's Animal ID is 410446.

Visit the Vernon Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
