Most actively traded companies on the TSX

Some of the most active companies traded Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Telesta Therapeutics Inc. (TSX:TST). Health-care. Down 25.5 cents, or 73.91 per cent, to nine cents on 37.5 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down five cents, or 5.21 per cent, to 91 cents on 9.7 million shares.

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down 39 cents, or 12.79 per cent, to $2.66 on eight million shares.

Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial Services. Up $1, or 5.21 per cent, to $18.21 on six million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 23 cents, or 8.49 per cent, to $2.48 on 4.7 million shares.

Merus Labs International Inc. (TSX:MSL). Health-care. Down 31 cents, or 13.78 per cent, to $1.94 on 4.4 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

WestJet (TSX:WJA). Airline. Down $2.07, or 11.07 per cent, to $16.63 on 1.6 million shares. WestJet has been hit hard by the lower loonie, which contributed to a 30 per cent decline in fourth-quarter profit. The Calgary-based airline says its net income and adjusted earnings were both $63.4 million or 51 cents per share, downfrom $90.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2014.
