Jets put new forward Tangradi into action against former Penguins teammates

WINNIPEG – Eric Tangradi will take to the ice for the Winnipeg Jets at left wing on Friday, on a line with Olli Jokinen and Kyle Wellwood.

He says it will feel a little odd playing against his former Pittsburgh Penguins teammates in his first game with the Jets.

He started the week in Pittsburgh and was traded Wednesday.

But he says he’s happy to get more of a chance than he had with the Penguins to play to the full extent of his ability.

The Jets also will get defenceman Zach Bogosian back for his first game since he had off-season wrist surgery.

He says he’s looking forward to playing again after the long layoff.
