Holiday hours and closures in Vernon over the next week

VERNON – Local offices and major centres will close their doors over the holidays.

Vernon City Hall will be closed Monday, Dec. 26 and Tuesday, Dec. 27, reopening for its regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) from Dec. 28 to Dec. 30. It will then close down again until Jan. 3.

The Okanagan Regional Library is shutting down its branches as of today, Friday, Dec. 24 to Jan. 2. Branches will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3.

The Vernon Aquatic Centre is closed on Christmas Day, but is open on New Year’s for a special swim in honour of Vernon’s 125th anniversary. Click here for the schedule.

The Vernon Visitor Centre will be closing at noon on Saturday, Dec. 24. It will then be closed, as usual, Sunday and Monday, and back open Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The centre will close again at noon on Dec. 31 and re-open Jan. 3 for its regular business hours.

The Village Green Centre will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
