UPDATE: Two vehicle crash closes Highway 1

KAMLOOPS – A two vehicle crash prompted the closure of Highway 1 at Rodeo Drive, 20 kilometres west of Kamloops.

Sgt. Karen Delorey says in a release that police got the call today, Dec. 26, at approximately 2:05 p.m. The caller reported a crash and serious injuries. 

Delorey says the collision caused the closure of both lanes on Highway 1.

According to DriveBC the crash scene is now clear.

"Police would like to remind motorists to slow down for the road conditions. Currently several areas in Kamloops are experiencing icy roads," Delorey says.
