MacDonald pulls out of UFC 158 with injury, Condit to face Hendricks instead
An injury has forced Montreal welterweight Rory (Ares) MacDonald out of his UFC 158 co-main event with Carlos (Natural Born Killer) Condit.
Instead Condit will face Johny Hendricks on the March 16 card at Montreal’s Bell Centre.
There was no immediate word on MacDonald’s exact injury.
Hendricks had been slated to meet Jake (The Juggernaut) Ellenberger on the same card.
Ellenberger will get a new opponent.
Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre meets Nick Diaz in the main event.
