PORT COQUITLAM, B.C. – An arrest has been made following a fatal stabbing in Port Coquitlam, B.C.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says 34-year-old James Meanney was taken into custody without incident late Tuesday night.
Police say 65-year-old Robert Vidovich was stabbed as he crossed the parking lot of a busy Port Coquitlam shopping mall on Aug. 7.
Police said the Crown has approved a second-degree murder charge against Meanney.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
