KAMLOOPS – Kamloops officers investigated reports of a man holding a long gun near a school in Dufferin Wednesday morning.

Teachers on the picket lines witnessed the man with the alleged gun at about 7:40 a.m.. After police responded it was determined the gun was made out of plastic.

The man was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
