B.C.’s Scott assured of at least a tiebreaker game after seventh win at Scotties

KINGSTON, Ont. – British Columbia’s Kelly Scott has picked up her seventh win at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

She is assured of at least a tiebreaker game appearance after beating Kerry Galusha of Northwest Territories/Yukon 9-7 in the early draw.

Manitoba’s Jennifer Jones and Ontario’s Rachel Homan have already locked up playoff spots.

Team Canada’s Heather Nedohin is also assured of a tiebreaker appearance entering the final day of round-robin play.

Jones, Nedohin and Homan will all be in action this afternoon.

If required, tiebreaker games would be played Saturday morning before the Page playoff games. The medal games are set for Sunday.
