Have you seen this suspected Valleyview thief?

KAMLOOPS – Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help to identify an alleged thief at the Valleyview Mall last month.

Kamloops and District Crime Stoppers says on its Facebook page that shortly before noon on Wednesday, Dec. 14, a man entered the mall and allegedly stole a couple of items.

He was very calm while in the store, Crime Stoppers says, and some staff members remember him walking around and looking at various items until he eventually left.

One employee went to the area where the man was spending a lot of time and noticed some items missing. After reviewing security footage, the man was identified as the suspect in the theft.

He is described as a Caucasian male, early 50s, bald with a grey goatee. He appeared to have a tattoo on his left hand near his thumb and an earring in his left ear.

If you have any information on the suspect, you're asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
