Tethys Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:TPL). Oil and gas. Down half-a-cent, or 14.29 per cent, to three cents on 35.8 million shares.
Torex Gold Resources Inc. (TSX:TXG). Miner. Up one cent, or 0.46 per cent, to $2.18 on 9.6 million shares.
Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down six cents, or 0.82 per cent, to $7.23 on 9.5 million shares.
Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up 36 cents, or 5.81 per cent, to $6.56 on 8.6 million shares.
Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Up 21 cents, or 3.21 per cent, to $6.76 on eight million shares.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Up 47 cents, or 5.75 per cent, to $8.64 on 7.9 million shares.

QLT Inc. (TSX:QLT). Biotechnology. Up seven cents, or 3.80 per cent, to $1.91 on 46,995 shares. QLT has a new merger partner, Aegerion Pharmaceuticals, and plans for a new name and expanded portfolio of products for the treatment of rare diseases. Vancouver-based QLT — once one of Canada’s leading biotechnology companies with a treatment for age-related blindness — says the merged company will have about US$100 million of unrestricted cash when the deal is done.
