SALT LAKE CITY – Authorities say a 45-year-old woman was arrested after she was accused of disrupting a London-to-Salt Lake City airline flight and attacking a federal air marshal.
Documents filed in U.S. District Court in Utah allege that Sarah Beach threw coffee on passengers, overturned a drink cart and ran up and down the aisle before she was seated next to an air marshal on the Thursday overseas Delta flight.
Prosecutors say she later grabbed an air marshal’s head and neck before she was handcuffed in a seat.
Beach also uses the name Sarah Cullum. She is identified as a U.S. citizen living in London.
She was expected to have a lawyer appointed to represent her Friday during a court hearing on a misdemeanour assault charge.
