OTTAWA – At the conclusion of Sen. Mike Duffy’s criminal trial, it will be up to Ontario Court Justice Charles Vaillancourt to determine whether or not Sen. Mike Duffy committed a crime in his dealings as the Conservative senator from P.E.I. Here’s a look, by the numbers, at what he’ll be reviewing:
31: number of charges Duffy faces.
3: types of charges — fraud, breach of trust and bribery
61: days of testimony over 10 months.
2: days of closing arguments.
112: number of exhibits.
562: emails contained in just one of those exhibits.
61: pages in the Crown’s final submissions on the first 28 counts.
262: pages in the defence’s final submissions on the same counts.
