Baruchel, Levy, O’Hara join presenters bound for Canadian Screen Awards

TORONTO – Jay Baruchel, Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara have been added to the list of presenters at the Canadian Screen Awards.

The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television says “Goon” star Baruchel and “Schitt’s Creek” co-stars Levy and O’Hara will hand out hardware saluting the best in homegrown film and TV.

Other additions to the lineup include Jared Keeso of “19-2,” Rick Mercer of “Rick Mercer Report,” and comedian Sean Cullen.

The Oscar-nominated drama “Room” tops the film competition with 11 nominations including best picture.

CBC-TV’s sitcom “Schitt’s Creek” tops the TV side with 14 nominations, half of them in acting categories.

Comic Norm Macdonald hosts the Canadian Screen Awards on March 13 in Toronto. It airs on CBC-TV.
