Coroner identifies man found dead in Gellatly Park

WEST KELOWNA – The B.C. Coroners Service has released the name of the man found dead in a West Kelowna dog park Sept. 10.

He was Ryan David Quigley, 30, of West Kelowna. Quigley was originally from Newfoundland but recently moved to the area.

Quigley was found in Gellatly Dog Park in the early morning hours Wednesday. His family has been notified of his death.

His death is not considered suspicious and evidence at the scene clearly indicates Quigley's death was a suicide, according to a press release from the B.C. Coroners Service. The investigation by RCMP and the coroner continues.
