Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Up 94 cents, or 22.65 per cent, to $5.09 on 18.7 million shares. The company says it’s planning a further 20 per cent reduction in its workforce as it tries to find up to $250 million in additional cost savings this year, beyond what had previously been announced.
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down 12 cents, or 9.23 per cent, to $1.18 on 17.2 million shares.
B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Up one cent, or 0.68 per cent, to $1.49 on 13.6 million shares.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Up 13 cents, or three per cent, to $4.47 on 10.2 million shares.
Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Down 62 cents, or 7.48 per cent, to $7.67 on 10.1 million shares.
Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up one cent, or 0.27 per cent, to $3.76 on 10.1 million shares.

Royal Bank of Canada (TSX:RY). Bank. Down $1.82, or 2.61 per cent, to $67.81 on 6.4 million shares. Royal Bank reported a first-quarter profit that was flat from a year ago, as higher earnings from its wealth management and its main banking division were offset by weaker results from insurance and capital markets. The bank reported net income of $2.45 billion for the quarter — flat compared to a year ago and six per cent lower than the previous quarter, when it had $2.59 billion of profit.
