
Vernon RCMP investigating early morning vehicle fire
VERNON – Fire crews snuffed out an aggressive vehicle fire early this morning in Vernon, and the RCMP are looking into what caused it.
Interim Vernon Fire Chief David Lind says there were no injuries and there was no one around the vehicle at the time of the fire.
Lind says the blaze was reported around 5:16 a.m., Jan. 27. A four-man crew responded and extinguished the fire.
The vehicle was parked on the street in the 1100 block of 21 Avenue.
