‘Happy Holiday’: Sarah Palin writing book about Christmas, scheduled for November
NEW YORK, N.Y. – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has a new book coming, this time about Christmas.
The former Republican vice-presidential candidate has a deal with HarperCollins for “A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas,” scheduled for November. HarperCollins announced Monday the book will criticize the “over-commercialism” and “homogenization” of Christmas and call for a renewed emphasis on the religious importance.
The book also will include Palin’s memories of celebrating Christmas.
HarperCollins also published Palin’s two previous books, “Going Rogue” and “America by Heart.”
Palin was again represented in negotiations by Washington attorney Robert Barnett. Financial terms haven’t been disclosed.
