Shelby

Shelby came to the Kamloops SPCA when her owner became ill and was no longer able to care for her.

She is a friendly affectionate cat who enjoys attention and is fairly easygoing. In fact she loves being petted so much that occasionally if you stop petting her and go to take your hand away she will try to pull it back.

Shelby lived with several cats before and would be fine in a multi-cat household with proper slow introductions. She is a laidback cat who is happiest when she finds a good place to nap.

Shelby does require an owner who is prepared to meet her special health needs. She is a manx and the breed can sometimes experience bowel complications. Shelby suffers occasionally from constipation and is on daily medication to ease this.

Shelby would make a lovely companion to a household.
