VANCOUVER – Abbotsford police are investigating a late-night shooting that left a young adult in hospital.
Police say witnesses reported seeing shots fired from one vehicle into another as the two vehicles travelled east on Downes Road Friday night.
Police say a man in his 20s with gunshot wounds turned up at a nearby hospital minutes later, but his injuries are not considered life threatening.
Police say the shooting is believed to have been targeted, but they do not yet have a motive and no arrests have been made at this time.
Investigators have identified two scenes where shots were fired.
It is believed both scenes are connected to the same incident.
