NHL suspends Blue Jackets defenceman Prout for one game for striking opponent
NEW YORK, – The NHL suspended Columbus Blue Jackets defenceman Dalton Prout for one game Tuesday for punching an unsuspecting opponent.
Prout struck Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov during a game Sunday. He received a roughing minor penalty and game misconduct.
Prout will forfeit US$5,779.57 in salary.
