UPDATE: Highway 97A crash near Grindrod is clear

GRINDROD – The crash that prompted the closure of Highway 97A in both directions is now clear.

DriveBC reported the highway was closed in both directions at 12:31 a.m. today, Feb. 19, and was later opened to single lane alternating traffic.

9:20 AM, FEB. 19

GRINDROD – Single lane traffic is now moving after an early morning collision prompted the closure of Highway 97A in both directions.

According to DriveBC, the crash scene is approximately four kilometres north of Grindrod.

Traffic was stopped in both directions from 12:31 a.m. to 2:40 a.m. this morning.
