Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS – Monte came to the Kamloops & District BC SPCA as a kitten from a feral cat colony.

He went into foster care for socialization, and is still working on coming out of his shell. Monte needs a cat-savvy home with no young children, because their energy scares him.

Monte likes to have lots of places to hide and high perches to check out his surroundings. He will hiss if you move too fast at him, but he has never attempted to bite.

He is good during vet treatments, including unpleasant ear cleanings. Monte requires a very calm home with patient, gentle owners. He has lived with dogs and cats so would likely do fine in a multi-pet home.

Monte is approximately seven months old.

Monte's Animal ID is 420576.

Visit the Kamloops Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
