Canadian snow sport organizations join forces to create sponsorship platform

VANCOUVER – Canada’s seven National Snow Sport Organizations have formed a marketing consortium to attract corporate partnerships.

Alpine Canada, the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association, Canada Snowboard, Cross Country Canada, Biathlon Canada, Ski Jumping Canada and Nordic Combined Canada have joined forces to create a new sponsorship platform to capitalize on their success.

The Snow Sports Consortium has selected the Vancouver-based TwentyTen Group to develop strategy and build a family of corporate partners.

Andrea J. Shaw, founder and managing partner of the TwentyTen Group, said “the seven sports and their athletes who make up the Snow Sports Consortium epitomize Canada’s love of winter sport through exemplary effort and performance.”

The partnership extends through to the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
