RDOS hires public works manager

PENTICTON – Janine Dougall to commence employment as the new Public Works Manager for the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen on April 10th.

Janine Dougall, a dedicated local government professional with over 16 years regional district experience, will commence her employment with the RDOS on April 10, 2017.
Dougall comes to us after serving 13 years in her most recent position as Director of Environmental Services at the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako. She has vast experience at the senior management level in all areas within the Public Works portfolio of a regional district, including solid waste, liquid waste, water, project management, procurement and contract management.

“Ms. Dougall has a proven track record in local government and comes highly recommended”, stated Bill Newell, RDOS Chief Administrative Officer, “She holds a Master of Applied Science degree along with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia. We look forward to her joining the RDOS.”

Ms. Dougall will relocate into the area in early April to begin her new position as Public Works Manager at the RDOS.
