Man shot to death north of Montreal; police looking for two suspects

TERREBONNE, Que. – A man was fatally shot north of Montreal on Monday, prompting authorities to launch a search for two suspects who were wearing masks at the time.

Quebec provincial police did not release the man’s identity after the shooting in Terrebonne.

Some reports say he was shot in a parking lot, while others say the incident took place in a business.

A charred and hollowed vehicle was visible in the parking lot, which is located in a residential area.

Provincial police investigators took over the case from municipal police in the area.

Police erected a large perimeter of several blocks around the scene of the shooting.
