NEW YORK, N.Y. – “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” will end its two-year run on Broadway this fall.
Producers of the show about a gifted 15-year-old mathematician with Asperger’s syndrome said the play will close Set. 4 after playing 23 previews and 800 regular performances.
The London import is based on an adaptation of Mark Haddon’s bestselling novel and was adapted by playwright Simon Stephens and directed by Marianne Elliott.
It won the best new play Tony Award and recouped its $4.75 million capitalization. In London, it continues to play at the Gielgud Theatre and a U.S. tour will launch in October.
