Kamloops RCMP looking for public’s help to solve a credit card fraud

KAMLOOPS – A wallet stolen in Kamloops has lead to credit card fraud and the RCMP are turning to the public for help.

RCMP say on Jan. 7 a wallet was taken from an unlocked car in Sahali and a credit card in the wallet was later used for over $7,000 in charges.

Photos from one of the stores where the card was used shows a suspect, according to an RCMP media release.

Police say the suspect is a Caucasian male and was was wearing a black hoodie with a white logo on the front, a black ball cap with a white logo, a brown jacket and blue jeans.

If you have any information on the theft from the vehicle or can identify the suspect, contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
