Suspects get away with stolen ATM in Salmon Arm

SALMON ARM – Thieves made off with an ATM at the mall in Salmon Arm yesterday.

A trio of thieves were able to break into the mall and make off with the stand-alone cash machine around 3:55 a.m., yesterday, Feb. 27, according to an RCMP media release.

Police were called by someone watching video surveillance of the theft, but by the time they arrived the trio and cash machine were gone. They left the scene with the ATM in a maroon minivan.

Police are looking for the public’s help in the incident, including if someone finds a the possibly discarded ATM.
