PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP found an impaired driver in the parking lot of a home improvement store earlier this week.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says police responded to the Rona Home Centre parking lot on Duncan Avenue, Sunday, Feb. 26 around midnight, where they found the 56-year-old man behind the wheel of a Chev Silverado pickup parked with the vehicle running.
Police noticed a strong odour of liquor from the driver, who was subsequently given a 90-day immediate roadside prohibition and his truck was towed.
