Kelso Technologies posts loss of $2.3 million in fourth quarter

DELTA, B.C. – NORTH DELTA, British Columbia (AP) _ Kelso Technologies Inc. (KIQ) on Tuesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $2.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The North Delta, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 5 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for pretax expenses, came to 2 cents per share.

The railroad equipment supplier posted revenue of $3.1 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $2.5 million, or 5 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $18.9 million.

The company’s shares closed at 83 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $4.36.
