Kamloops teen hit in crosswalk

KAMLOOPS – An 18-year-old girl was taken to hospital this afternoon after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Sahali.

RCMP say at about 2 p.m., today, March 3, the teen was crossing Columbia Street in Sahali from south to north in the crosswalk when a driver heading up Columbia in the right lane hit her.

The girl was taken to Royal Inland Hospital by ambulance with non life-threatening injuries, according to an RCMP media release.
